Late 60's or early 70's avocado green Philips hairdryer

The epitome of late 1960's–early 1970's style for the Jackie-reading, Fab 208-listening teenager, this funky retro vintage satchel-style hairdryer by Philips captures both the futuristic space-age and psychedelic flower power aesthetics of the period. Its avocado green plastic case measures approximately 28.5 x 15 x 7cm (11 x 6 x 2.75 inches), and three narrow ridges at the bottom of the case allow it to stand upright for storage or display. 

 

The hairdryer has three different heat settings and its original european two-pin electric plug. It is in excellent condition and working order – but for safety reasons is offered for sale as a collector's item and not for practical use.
