A 1960's/1970's West German art pottery vase with geometric pop-art design

This vintage ceramic vase stands 12cm (4.75 inches) tall, 10cm (4 inches) wide and 6cm (2.5 inches) deep. It has a semi-opaque matte ivory-white glaze washed over a dark brown glaze which serves to pick out the geometric pop-art motifs set in relief on each of the four faces of the pot. Made by hand in the 60's or 70's, the vase it is impressed on the base "W Germany M.16/12". The vase is in very good condition.
