A vintage Solrose glass candlestick by Ann or Goran Warff for Kosta Boda glassworks of Sweden

Pictured in the first image below in a vintage magazine advertisement, this heavy sculptural glass candlestick is entitled Solrose and embodies the fire-and-ice style characteristic of modern postwar Scandinavian glass design. The candlestick was designed by Ann/Goran Warff and stands approximately 12cm (5 inches) high with a diameter of around 11cm (4.25 inches). The central recess is designed to hold either a tealight or any other kind of candle with a diameter up to 5cm (2.5 inches).
