Produced by the Swedish Pukeberg glassworks in the 1960s, this set of hand-made glass knife rests, which are designed alternatively for use as table placecard holders, are all in excellent condition with no damage and come in their original box, which has a roughly 3cm (1.25 inch) split along one foldline.
The box originally held six of the glass pieces, whose organic shapes are based on cowry shells, but this boxed set of six also comes with three extra pieces. All nine have their original Pukeberg labels, and vary in width between 4 and 5cm (1.5 and 2 inches) due to their hand-made nature. The box is printed in Swedish on one side (6 knivlägg/kort hållare), and in English on the other (6 knife rests/card holders).
