Italian adjustable desk lamp with organiser base

This high-quality vintage Italian desk lamp has a heavily weighted base so that the flexible stem can be moved into any position without undermining the lamp's stability. A label on the underside of the base reads ‘Nuova Veneta Lumi srl Italy’. The strong, glossy white enamelled metal head can be swivelled round through 360 degrees independently of the stem. The head has a diameter of 8cm (3 inches) and when fully extended reaches a height of 48cm (19 inches). The desk organiser base measures 19 x 12cm (7.5 x 4.75 inches) and has four compartments. The lamp has its original integrated European-style two-pin plug and is in excellent condition.
