A vintage 1950's–1960's cast iron wall lamp with piano keyboards motif and starburst effect |

This unusual and heavy-quality wall lamp is made of welded black cast iron, and has a piano keyboard motif to either side of two centrally positioned and overlapping discs that conceal the bulb and its housing. The piano theme is continued in the lamp's stylish inline on/off switch with its black body and ivory flicker. When the bulb is lit, the grille around the lamp's edge causes an asymmetrical starburst to be thrown onto the wall. The lamp has a diameter of 27cm (10.5 inches) and a depth of 4cm (1.5 inches), and is fitted with a European-style two-pin plug. It takes a candle-shaped small screw bulb, and is in very good condition with minimal signs of age and previous use. For more images please scroll down the page. |
