A rare classic gold-coloured vintage Bumling pendant light designed by Anders Pehrson for Atelje Lyktan

This enduring pendant light was conceived by Swedish designer Anders Pehrson in 1968 and is still currently in production by its original manufacturer Atelje Lyktan in Åhus, Sweden.

This particular example is, however, an original vintage version produced in the 1960s/70s in classic gold – a colourway no longer available today – and unusually retains its original diffuser to prevent direct glare from the bulb (see images below). This is the smaller version of the Bumling pendant, with a diameter of 25cm (10 inches) and a height of 26cm (10.25 inches). It is in excellent condition.
