A rare pair of 1960s/1970s cone-shaped Carl Thore pendant lights with purple and burnt ochre surfaces |

A rarely seen version of the much-loved 1960s Danish light design by Swedish architect Carl Thore, these vintage multilayered pendants have a cone-shaped heart skirted by the classic Carl Thore double layer with its coloured interior faces that reflect upwards and downwards respectively onto the glossy brushed aluminium surface of the split cone when the lamp is lit. One of the pair sports a cool lilac-purple and silver colourway, while the other has a fiery combination of burnt ochre and gold. They have a diameter of 26cm and a height of approximately 24cm. Both lights are in excellent condition with only minimal signs of previous use. For more images please scroll down the page. |
