Vintage cast-iron candleholders designed by C&C Holmgren and made in Denmark in the 70s

These heavy vintage cast-iron candlesticks were designed in 1973 to 1974 by Christel and Christer Holmgren, also known as C&C Holmgren. With their asymmetrical psychedelic profile, the candleholders have a strong retro 70s style and are a top-quality design item.

Weighing in at 750g (over 1lb 10oz) each, with an 8.5cm (3.5 inch) diameter and a height of 8.25cm (3.25 inches), they will hold candles with a diameter of up to 7.5cm (3 inches) and are also suitable for tealights.

The holders have a recessed base which is impressed "Made in Denmark. Pat Pending." This recess can also be used as an alternative receptacle for the candle, as the holders have been designed to be perfectly stable either way up. We currently have just one of these candleholders remaining available.
