A 60/70s wall thermometer with psychedelic design in pink and orange by Laurids Lønborg of Denmark

This vintage decorative wall thermometer was designed by Dorthe Bruun Rasmussen for Laurids Lønborg in the 1960s/70s. The swirling psychedelic design is printed on a white background in strong acidic pink and bright orange, while the temperature rankings are marked in pink in centigrade on the left side and in fahrenheit on the right.

The tin-like metal panel measures 29 x 15cm (11.5 x 6 inches) and has a depth of 1cm (0.5 inch). Small holes have been drilled at the top and bottom edges for easy wall hanging. The gold-coloured reverse side is marked "Design Dorthe Bruun Rasmussen, Laurids Lonborg A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark". The thermometer is a previously unused vintage item in mint condition and in its original box.
