A vintage 1950's–1960's Danish modern hand-carved teak deer

Standing 40.5cm (16 inches) tall, this is a larger than usual example of the elegant and sparsely formed wood carvings that graced every modern Danish home in the 1950's and early 1960's. Hand-carved in teak and marked 15003 on the 8 x 5 x 3cm (3.25 x 2 x 1 inch) base, the deer is in excellent condition.
