ABS plastic and acrylic trumpet-footed cocktail snack containers, made in the 1970s by Termotex of Denmark

These vintage ABS plastic party accessories, with their acrylic perspex displays and Saarinen-like flared pedestal bases, are ideal for the retro 1970s-style cocktail party, as shown on their original packaging which is reproduced right and below. The containers stand 19.5cm (7.75 inches) tall, and have a base diameter of just under 12cm (4.5 inches). They are marked underneath "Termotex of Denmark registered design".

We currently have Termotex cocktail twiglet/straw containers available in beige, brown or black, including a small number in their original packaging. The twiglet/straw container happily doubles as a stylish dinner table accessory for holding cigarettes, after-dinner mints, chocolate coffee beans and other retro post-dessert essentials. We no longer have the peanut dispensers seen to the left in the first picture below.
