A vintage 1960's Ege Rya rug in mint condition with Panton-style red spectrum target design

This vintage 1960's pure wool rya rug sports a Panton-like pop-art target motif above parallel and overlapping lines in a spectrum of reds – coral, rich deep orange, bright red and burnished copper – on a dark burgundy background. It is an original Ege Rya rug in Ege's Boutique range and shows no sign of previous use on either floor or wall.

The 100 per cent pure new wool shag pile has, like all Ege Rya rugs, been colourproofed and mothproofed and is in clean, as-new condition. The rug measures 70 x 110cm (27.5 x 43.25 inches) and retains its original label on the reverse, which gives the rug's title as Dart 40.
