Bentler of Denmark mirror chrome pendant light pair

These gleaming vintage chrome pendant lights were produced in the late 60's to early 70's by Bentler of Birkerød, Denmark, a lighting company that specialised in high-quality mirror chrome lamps of such robustness and durability that every one we have ever come across (which is not many – the company's lights seem to have been produced in extremely small quantities and are so scarce today that they are largely unknown) has been in astonishingly good condition, the chrome shiny and undecayed and the strong bodywork undented. These bell-shaped pendants, which we are selling as a pair, have a diameter of 21cm (8.25 inches) and a height of 28cm (11 inches). They take a standard-sized Edison screw-fitting bulb (not supplied) and have two-core electric wiring.
