A large circular green target textile produced by Finlayson of Finland in the 1960's or 1970's

This large and striking vintage textile was made in the 60's or 70's by Finlayson of Tampere, Finland. Intended for use as a tablecloth for a Saarinen-style circular table, the textile is a strong medium-weight cotton with a canvas-like texture. It has been screenprinted in four shades of green and finished around the outer edge with green cotton piping the same colour as the innermost area of the target design. The textile is not quite a perfect circle, measuring approximately 153 x 159cm (60.25 x 62.5 inches).
