A five metre+ length of vintage unused 1950s/early 1960s Francis Price satinised cotton Dayspring fabric

This 5.25-metre (17-foot) length of Francis Price medium-weight satinised cotton furnishing fabric has never been used and is in mint condition. Dating from the 1950s or early 60s, the fiery design, entitled Dayspring, is screenprinted in vibrant colours ranging from rich egg yolk yellow through tangerine, blood red, burnt ochre and coffee to black, with tiny touches of white igniting the yellow.

The pattern repeat is approximately 40 x 63cm (15.75 x 24.75 inches) and a full repeat can be seen within the first picture below. There are three repeats across the 120cm (47.25 inch) width of the fabric. The selvedge is marked A Francis Price Screen Print. Dayspring. Printed in Vat Colours.
