A length of unused vintage 60s/70s slubbed cotton textile with space-age psychedelic flowers in earthy woodland tones

This vintage but previously unused textile length is printed along one selvedge "100% Baumwolle pflegeleicht" which is German for "100% easy care cotton". There are also laundry instruction symbols indicating that the fabric should be washed at 40 degrees centigrade and ironed with a cool iron, may be dry-cleaned with percholethylene or mild solvents, and should not be bleached.

Measuring 120.5 x 214cm (47.5 x 84.5 inches), the fabric is a heavy and strong, furnishing-weight cotton with an irregular slubbed texture very similar to vintage furnishing fabrics from Boras Wafveri and other Scandinavian textile producers. The fabric's psychedelic flowers have a space-age sci-fi style but are printed in strong earthy tones including dark and light chocolate brown, burnt ochre, pinkish terracotta and khaki green, with touches of black and white, on a creamy mushroom background.
