A pair of top-quality, mint-condition vintage 1970s curtains in the style of Gustav Klimt's Tree of Life

Designed in the style of Gustav Klimt's Tree of Life, these top-quality curtains are made of a heavy woven manmade fabric with a weight and strength something like canvas, but which hangs beautifully and which we would guess also to have some linen and silk content. The Klimt-style swirls are executed in bitter chocolate with lighter brown touches, stone and silver grey on a rich cream background. The hem is oversewn (see final picture below) and weighted to further aid in crisp, even hanging.

The curtain header tape is still in place, but although it shows some bunching which indicates that the curtains have previously been hung, there are no visible signs of use at all in the curtains themselves, whose condition we would describe as mint. Only one curtain is pictured below, but there are of course two in the pair, each measuring 141cm (55.5 inches) in width and with a drop of 226cm (89 inches).
