A near-mint condition vintage 1950s tiki-style cotton curtain in green and black |

This single vintage 50s curtain is in as-new condition and shows no sign of previous use or any fading or other damage. The fabric is a typical high-quality 1950s sheeting-weight cotton – fine and crisp with firm body –while the Zambezi-like tiki print perfectly encapsulates the midcentury modern style of Lucienne Day, Marian Mahler and the classic David Whitehead designs of the period. With a width of 168cm (66 inches) made up of two fabric panels, and a drop of 138cm (54.5 inches), the curtain has header tape present but one of the two gathering threads needs re-threading.
