Orange and chrome ball lamp made in Italy 1970s

With its strong, bright and glossy orange metal head and base and shiny chrome stem, this vintage 1970s bubble/ball lamp was made in Italy and is designed for use on a desk, table or bedside cabinet. The lamp stands approximately 19 cm (7.5 inches) tall and retains its original chunky on/off switch and European two-pin plug. It is in very good condition with minor signs of previous use in the form of a small number of non-prominent scuffs, and takes a small Edison screw golfball bulb max 40w (not supplied).
