Vintage Danish modern layered pendant light

This vintage Danish modern pendant light is made of pale ivory-white powder-coated steel and is virtually impossible to bend or dent. It is an exceptionally high-quality production, of a standard rarely found at the time and unavailable today. The timeless design is reminiscent of Poul Henningsen's PH 4/3, but has its own unique design features including a meshed vent and a fin at the top of the lamp ensuring that light is directed both vertically and horizontally. Entitled Bless, the lamp has a diameter of 47.5cm (approximately 18.75 inches) and was produced in Denmark by Design Light A/S. It is in very good condition with minimal wear, and has been rewired with new three-core electric cable to meet or exceed current UK and international safety standards.
