Eiffel modernist pendant light by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, mid 1960s
Dating to the late 1950s/early 60s, the Eiffel (aka the Eifel) was one of Jo Hammerborg's earliest designs for Fog & Mørup and is a strong statement of the new modernist aesthetic he brought to the company. The original version was in copper and black, and this later edition, with satinised aluminium and dark grey bands, was issued in the mid 1960s. Measuring 25.5 cm in height and 17.5 cm in diameter, the lamp is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of age and use.
