ES Horn of Denmark red space-age ball-shaped pendant light, 1960s/70s
This classic space-age glossy red enamelled steel pendant light was made by Danish lighting company ES Horn Belysning of Aalestrup and is Horn's interpretation of Verner Panton's 1959 Topan design for Louis Poulsen. Stronger and heavier than both the Topan itself and most other lights based on it, this ES Horn version has been produced to an exceptionally high standard of quality and is in excellent condition. It has a diameter of 17 cm and a height of 16cm and takes a standard-sized Edison screw-fitting bulb up to 60w (not supplied).
