Lakaj pendant light pair, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1970s

Designed by Jo Hammerborg and produced in the mid 1970s by luxury Danish lighting company Fog & Mørup, the Lakaj is a robust and versatile pendant light providing glare-free illumination with a localised focus, so is ideal for use over a table or desk. These two examples, offered for sale as a pair (the price listed is for both lamps together) have an outer skirt in light grey with a soft sheen, and matte white inner sections. Both lamps are in very good condition with light wear, most notably some scratching to the inner bottom rim (see photos). They have a diameter of 34 cm and a height of 25 cm and take a standard Edison screw bulb max 75w (not supplied).
