Pisa green cased glass lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1960s

Named for its resemblance to the famous leaning tower, Jo Hammerborg's Pisa is one of a series of cased glass lamps he designed in the 1960s. The series was produced jointly by Fog & Mørup and Holmgaard Kastrup glassworks, and Hammerborg, as head of design at Fog & Mørup, was closely involved in the collaboration. Measuring 38 cm in height and 14 cm in diameter, the Pisa takes a standard Edison screw bulb max 75w (not supplied). The lamp is in very good condition with a few small chips (see photos).
