Kienzle Germany Signal Girl orange timer

A plastic and metal kitchen timer dating from the 1960s to early 1970s by Kienzle of Germany. Entitled Signal Girl, the orange and white casing is in very good condition and the bodywork is smooth and shiny throughout, though most of the white minutes numbering has been rubbed and so faded to grey (see photos). The angled back is designed to allow the timer to be used in either a prone or upright orientation. Measuring 7 x 7 x 5 cm, the timer is in excellent condition and is marked Signal Girl on the front face and Kienzle Made in Germany on the reverse.
