Very rare 1950s Danish modern brass and cased glass wall light

This stunning wall light was produced by Lyfa in the 1950s and is in excellent vintage condition with no damage to the white cased glass shade or the black slatted skirt. There is generalised patination to the brass frame commensurate with its age. Measuring 28 cm in height overall and 15 cm in diameter, the lamp is designed to be mounted onto a wall by two screws (not supplied). It retains its Danish two-pin plug and inline on/off switch. It takes an Edison screw-fitting ES bulb max 60w (not supplied) and provides a soft and completely glare-free but effective light.
