The lights pictured below (reproduced from a February 1973 Coronell of Denmark catalogue in our possession) are often said to have been designed by Swedish architect/designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson.
However, the January 1968 issue of Mobilia magazine includes a report on the 1967 Scandinavian Lighting Fair in Gøteborg that reveals their true designer. A photo (below) showing several of the lights is accompanied in the magazine by the following caption:
Metal shades with inlaid prisms of different colours. Designer and producer: Werner Schou, Coronell Electro A/S, Denmark
Further research reveals that Coronell Electro A/S was set up in Hellerup, Denmark in 1964 and wound up in 1991. Werner August Hugo Schou was the owner and a board member of Coronell Electro and also of Coronell Lampe ApS, the latter set up in Birkerød in 1979 and wound up in 1998.
