At first glance the lights below, discovered in Finland, might be mistaken for a wall-mounted version of Verner Panton’s Flowerpot for Louis Poulsen – except that no wall version of the Flowerpot was produced and it came only in pendant, table and garden variations.
Their actual identity is far more obscure, but in some ways just as interesting. The labels on the reverse of the lamp reveal that it was produced by Fog & Mørup, and the image below is a 1960s publicity shot issued by F&M at the time of the lamp’s introduction to the market. The accompanying details give the lamp's name as Broby-lampe and its designer as one A Helth – about whom we know nothing and whose work seems to have left no other trace.
