Dublé wall lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1970s

Dublé wall lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1970s

Dublé wall lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1970s

This classic 1970s modernist wall lamp was produced in Denmark by Fog & Mørup and designed by the company's head of design Jo Hammerborg. Measuring 9 x 9 x 18.5 cm, the lamp is designed to be wall-mounted onto two small nails (not supplied) using the two slots, one vertical and the other horizontal, built into the back end. Alternatively it also stands happily on its back end for use as a desk or table lamp. Made of strong, thermal-lacquered steel plate, the sturdy lamp is in excellent condition with barely any sign of previous use. It takes a small Edison screw candle bulb max 40w and comes with its original European two-pin plug and its on-off cord, which hangs vertically when the lamp is wall-mounted. This is a little-known Hammerborg design, which we have identified via the Fog & Mørup label attached to another example. We have included two pictures of the other Dublé here but would emphasise that neither the label nor this second lamp are included for sale here. The example for sale here is the brown version with orange front end. Please also note that this example does not include the louvre referred to on the label.
