Symfoni Danish art light by Preben Dal for HF Belysning, early 60s
One of Preben Dal's legendary Symfoni pendant lamps designed for Danish lamp company HF Belysning, who launched the series to international acclaim in 1962, this example has a larger width-to-height ratio than the more commonly seen version. The white and battleship grey steel body has the extensive rust spotting so common in these models due to their non-stainless steel construction, along with a few minor scuffs and bumps. The lamp has a maximum diameter of 43 cm and a height of 26 cm and takes a standard Edison screw bulb max 150w (not supplied). It carries its original HF Belysning label.
