Original 1960s/70s strong metal Mag Danish bubble lamps

Offered for sale individually, these original vintage Mag pop art bubble lamps were designed by P Bosque and made in the 1960's and 1970's by the Abo Randers lighting company of Denmark. The ball-shaped heads are held in place by a magnet inside the black plastic base, and can be swivelled around freely to point in any direction. They can be used either as table lamps or as spotlights, and the bases can be screwed to a wall or shelf – the magnet is strong enough to hold the lamp head in place, even upside down. The lamps stand approximately 14cm tall and have inline on/off switches and European-style two-pin plugs, so will need a travel-type adaptor (not supplied) for use in the UK. They take a small Edison screw golfball bulb max 40w (also not supplied) and are in very good condition with minimal signs of previous use.
