Alfa wall lamp designed in the early 1960s by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup
One of Jo Hammerborg's first wave of lighting designs for Fog & Mørup, the Alfa wall light and its sibling the Beta table lamp appear in F&M catalogues for spring 1963 and were likely available prior to that date too. Having an angle-adjustable head with a diameter of 11cm and a projection from the wall of 24–28 cm depending on head angle, the Alfa is a compact lamp suited for use as a reading lamp mounted over a desk or bedside table. This piece is in brass and brown lacquered metal.
