Irish Linen Mills Capri brown polka dots tea towel 1970sThis vintage 1970s tea towel sports a polka dot design in dark coffee brown signed Capri, which may be the name of the artist. The textile is also printed with the name Irish Linen Mills, the warehousing company that was associated with the Falls Flax linen mill and distributed and exported its products to retailers including the London department stores Harrods and John Lewis. Close inspection against the light reveals a couple of faint traces of bygone tea stains. Otherwise condition is excellent, with no damage or fading. Dimensions are 74 x 48 cm.
