Ruby glass candle lamp by Hans-Agne Jakobsson

This elegant candle-powered lamp (pictured here with a wine bottle and glass for scale) is a 1950s or early 60s Hans-Agne Jakobsson Markaryd production for Liljeholmens Stamningsljus. A label on the weighted base shows that it was available in three heights, this one being the tallest with an overall height of around 43cm (17 inches). There are one or two very tiny fleabites to the top rim and some flake chips to the bottom rim of the glass (the latter not visible when the glass is on its stem), and a number of marks to the brass base – see close-up images.
