Classic Modern Midcentury Design sells original midcentury and Danish modern homeware with an emphasis on lighting and textiles. A web-based business with its HQ in Hastings, UK, Classic Modern ships both within the UK and internationally, with a large proportion of its customers based in mainland Europe and the US.

Part of the Midmodmedia Group, Classic Modern was one of the first sites to appear in the Danish modern design space when it launched in 2003, and – together with the Group's renowned reference sites ID Your Danish Modern and ID Your Vintage Danish Lights and its Danish lighting blog (the latter now incorporated into Classic Modern) – has played a leading role in reigniting interest in several high-quality brand names such as Fog & Mørup and Lyfa and important designers including Jo Hammerborg and Louis Weisdorf who had at that time become almost entirely forgotten but have now been recognised as key players in Danish midcentury modern design.
