Vintage Rosti orange melamine bread or fruit bowl

Rosti's design for this melamine bowl with its fluid and swooping lines is said to have been based on a dish by Michael Lax for Copco, though it also resembles the wooden dish designed by Finn Juhl and made by Kaj Bojesen so might equally have been inspired by that design. Measuring 27.5 x 17cm (11 x 6.5 inches), the eliptical shape and sloping sides of the bowl make it ideal for holding and displaying fruit or bread. Produced in Denmark in the 1960s to early 1970s and in mint condition.
