Vintage Westclox luminous electric alarm clock

An original 1970s electric-powered alarm clock made in Scotland by Westclox for the Scandinavian market. In full working order, the clock's hands have luminous tips to allow the time to be read in the dark. The clock is in full working order, and its dark chocolate brown body and clear perspex face show little sign of previous use. The back is marked 'General Time, Scotland. 220/240v 50Hz 2.5w'. It also carries the country marks D, N and S, indicating that its original retail destinations were Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and retains its original European two-pin plug accordingly. Dimensions are 12.5cm (5 inches) width, 7.5cm (3 inches) height and 6cm (2.5 inches) depth.
