Didas Deken Maija Isola Kaivo style blanket

An original vintage 1970's blanket/throw made in Holland by Didas with a design closely resembling Maija Isola's classic and iconic 1964 Kaivo design for Marimekko. In two shades of brown, grey and sandy beige, the blanket is reversible, with the two sides offering the design in inverse colour schemes. A label on the blanket's lighter side reveals that it was produced in Holland by Didas Deken and is made of Dralon, with a dense and fairly heavy texture. It measures 140 x 185cm (55 x 73 inches) and is machine washable (we have already given it a go).
