Abo Randers Danish mushroom wall lamp 1960's/1970's

With its glossy lipstick-red metal mushroom-shaped shade, this vintage wall light was produced by Danish lighting manufacturer Abo Randers in the late 1960's to early 1970's and is a classic expression of the pop-art style of that period. In excellent condition with virtually no sign of previous use, the lamp retains its original Abo label, inline on/off switch and two-pin European plug. It takes a small Edison screw golfball bulb max 40w (not provided) which together with the mushroom shade provides a warm and localised light effect suitable for creating a cosy area within a room. The strong metal wall bracket is easily mounted on a hook or nail via an eyelet provided for that purpose. The lamp's overall dimensions are height 14cm (5.5 inches), depth 14.5cm (5.75 inches) and width 12cm (4.75 inches).
