Midcentury Danish designer opal glass pendant light by Lyfa

This high-quality 1950s pendant lighting fixture was produced by Danish lighting company Lyfa and is attributed to Bent Karlby, who created other similar designs for the company. The slotted matte avocado green shade concentrates the light from the white opal glass body in a downward direction while also providing some ambient upward light and avoiding glare, making it ideal for use over a dining table or in other situations where a bright but soft illumination is required. The lamp is in superb condition and has a diameter of 34 cm and a height of 18 cm.
