Vintage Louis Poulsen Unispot lamp circa 1970

Manufactured by Louis Poulsen & Co A/S of Denmark circa 1970, this vintage Louis Poulsen Unispot spotlight has a black plastic casing and an adjustable aluminium arm. The main body of the lamp is 21cm (8.25 inches) long and has a diameter of 15cm (6 inches) and carries a label with the Louis Poulsen monogram and the Unispot logo. There is a textured reflector inside the lamp which has a shiny metallised finish. The integral wall/ceiling mount unscrews to provide easy access to the lamp's electric terminals for wiring either directly into the mains or to an electric cable as required. In 1972 the Unispot featured in a Louis Poulsen advertisement along with other classic Poulsen lights including Panton's Panthella, Flowerpot and VP Globe and Poul Henningsen's Artichoke.
