Description

This pleasingly dumpy red-glazed fat lava-style ceramic vase was made in the 1970s at the Carstens Tönnieshof pottery studio in West Germany. The vase has a height of 11cm (4.25 inches), and a 1mm glaze chip to the inner edge of the rim is its only flaw. The base is marked 'W Germany 75-10' and has the Carstens Tönnieshof double house mark.
