Finlayson Finland 1970s as new bold flowers tablecloth

Measuring 128 x 154 cm, this vintage but mint-condition linen textile with its bold design in bright yellow and brilliant green on a black background is finished on all sides and was intended for use as a tablecloth but would also make an excellent wall hanging. It was produced in the 1970s by Finlayson of Tampere, Finland, one of the companies which (along with Marimekko and Tampella) defined the bold, large-scale style of Finnish textiles in this era which are so collectable today. Completely new and unused, the textile still carries its original Finlayson Finland label.
