Finlayson of Finland midcentury modern wool mix woven textile throw

Purchased in Finland, this vintage midcentury modern candystripe textile is in perfect as-new condition. The lightweight but closely woven and high-quality fabric appears to be a wool/linen/manmade mix, measuring 130 x 229 cm and finished on all four sides. Ideal for use as a throw, wall-hanging or table covering, the muted yet vibrant midcentury colour palette of greens, blues, ochres and reds is a classic vintage Finlayson combination (see the accompanying vintage Finlayson ads), and while there is no maker's label present, the textile is believed to be a Finlayson production.
