Large Verona multi layered classic Danish modern pendant light

Danish architect Sven Middelboe was a key figure at Nordisk Solar Compagni during the heyday of the company's domestic lighting production, and many of his lights were featured in international design publications such as Studio Magazine. His best-known light design today is the Verona, widely acknowledged as a timeless classic of Danish lighting, which he designed in the 1970s and which won several awards including an iF product design award. The Verona's enduring popularity rests upon both its obvious aesthetic qualities and its superb functionality – namely its ability to cast an effective light that is fully shielded from glare. With a height of 31 cm and a diameter of 48.5 cm, this large version of the Verona in white powder-coated metal is an imposing and impressive example of this classic light and perhaps a little large for many standard domestic interiors, but ideally suited as a focal point in a larger space or an architectural project.
