Rare vintage Louis Poulsen Bornholm pendant light

An extremely rare vintage Bornholmpendel pendant light, produced in the 1960s by Louis Poulsen A/S of Denmark and featured on the front cover of the 1967 Louis Poulsen catalogue. Designed by architects Finn Monies and Gunnar Jensen in 1964 as part of a project creating furniture and interiors for a Bornholm shipping company, the light was subsequently put into general production by Poulsen. This example is one of a dozen removed from a church in central Jutland, Denmark, during a recent renovation, where it had been since new and is consequently in excellent condition. The lamp's diameter is 47cm and its height 32cm, and it retains its original two-core porcelain bulb-holder (the original electric cable, however, has been replaced with new two-core wire).
