Claus Bonderup

Claus Bonderup blog postsClaus Bonderup was still a student of architecture at Copenhagen's Kunstakademiet in 1969 when, together with fellow student Torsten Thorup (on the left in the photo), he designed the iconic Semi light which was put into production by Fog & Mørup and went on to be one of the company's best-selling lights, remaining in production throughout the remaining years of F&M’s existence and beyond. The Semi was the only F&M light whose production run continued through every round of mergers that swallowed up the F&M brand – so that later examples can be found today with Lyfa-F&M labels, Lyskaer-Lyfa labels, Lyskaer Belysning labels and Horn Belysning labels.
