Measuring 66 x 68cm (26 x 26.75 inches), this vintage 1950s/early 60s headscarf has a screenprinted design of a hand-painted abstract artwork in classic midcentury modern style in several shades of brown, black and warm beige on an ivory background. The textile is believed to be silk, but may be a man-made fabric with very similar qualities.
