Orange Krups alarm clock vintage 1970s plastic

A chunky round-corned space-age battery-operated alarm clock made in Germany by Krups in the mid-1970s. Markings inside the clip-on battery cover suggest a production date of January 1976, and the clock's shiny, near-mint condition is virtually as good as it was then. In working order but supplied without the 1.5v battery it needs to operate, the clock measures approximately 13 x 8 x 7cm.
